コンディション：小さなマルチピークのビーチブレイク
波のサイズ：2～3フィート
うねり：1m～1.5m
風：午前中はクロスショア、午後は強まる
波の安定性：短周期の風うねりで安定した波
セクション：小さなマルチピークでコンパクトなセクション
イベント基準：ライドの採点には、WSL審査基準のすべての要素が適用されます。本日の審査では、以下の点に重点が置かれます。
主要マニューバーの組み合わせ：重要なセクションで、ライド全体を通して高いスピード、パワー、そして良好な流れを保ちながら実行すること。
スピードと流れ：サーファーが波を読み、様々なセクションに合わせてレパートリーを適応させ、波のエネルギーを活用して良好な流れを維持し、セクション間のスムーズな移行を実現することで、得点の可能性を最大限に高める能力。
ビッグエアとハイリスクマニューバー：重要なセクションで実行され、その実行に重点が置かれます。エアリアルマニューバーを評価する際、審査員は以下の点を考慮します。
- エアのローンチセクションの重要性。
- 高さとプロジェクション／振幅。
- 反転と回転。
- テクニカルグラブ。
- 実行のスピードと流れ。
- 着地の難しさとコントロール、そしてそこからどのように乗り出すか。
大きな単一の主要マニューバー：重要なセクションで実行された場合、高い評価を受けることができます。
審査に関する追加事項：
上記の基準のすべての要素が適用されます。
マニューバーを完了とみなし、それに応じて採点されるためには、サーファーはマニューバーから出る際に完全なコントロールと前進の勢いを示さなければなりません。
コントロールの喪失と長時間のリカバリーは減点となります。
Conditions: Small multiple peak beachie
- Wave size: 2-3 feet
- Swell: 1 m- 1.5m
- Wind: cross shore winds early then stronger in the afternoon.
- Wave consistency: Short period wind swell offering consistent waves
- Sections: small multiple peaks offering compact sections
Event Criteria: All elements of the WSL judging criteria will be applied when scoring rides. Today, judging will emphasise:
- Combinations of Major Manoeuvres: Executed on critical sections with high speed, power, and good flow throughout the ride.
- Speed and Flow: The surfer’s ability to read the wave and adapt their repertoire to different sections, utilising the wave’s energy to maintain good flow and smooth transitions between sections to maximise scoring potential.
- Big Airs and High Risk Manoeuvres: Performed on critical sections, with emphasis on execution. When evaluating aerial manoeuvres, judges consider:
- The critical nature of the air’s launch section.
- Height and projection/amplitude.
- Inversions and rotations.
- Technical grabs.
- Speed and flow of execution.
- Difficulty and control of the landing, and how the surfer rides out of it.
- Massive single major manoeuvres: when performed in the critical sections, these can be highly rewarded.
Additional Judging Notes:
All elements of the criteria above will be applied.
Surfers must demonstrate full control and forward momentum when exiting manoeuvres for them to be considered completed and scored accordingly.
Loss of control and extended recoveries will reduce scores.
